Warnings & Usage Guidelines

Your 'Tini Tap is designed to be safe and easy to use. Following these guidelines will ensure every experience is a great one for you and everyone around you.

CO2 Cartridge Safety

Your 'Tini Chargers contain pressurized CO2 gas. They are safe when used as intended. Please read the following before use.

First and foremost, ‘Tini Taps can’t guarantee or vouch for any other brand or type of CO2 cartridges. Therefore, we always recommend using ‘Tini Taps branded food-safe ‘Tini Chargers for simplicity and confidence when using the ‘Tini Taps system. However, please consider safety tips regardless of the cartridges you choose since CO2 can be dangerous when used incorrectly or inappropriately.

•Always use 16g threaded, food-safe CO2 cartridges. Using the wrong cartridge type can damage the regulator and create an unsafe pressure situation. When in doubt, use ‘Tini Taps branded 'Tini Chargers. They are designed and tested specifically for your 'Tini Tap system.

•Never puncture, crush, incinerate, or modify a CO2 cartridge. Even a spent cartridge may contain residual pressure.

•Keep cartridges away from heat sources, direct sunlight, and temperatures above 120°F. Heat causes pressure to build rapidly inside the cartridge.

•Never leave cartridges in a hot car, especially in summer months.

•Store unused cartridges in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.

•Dispose of spent cartridges responsibly. Check your local recycling guidelines. Many municipalities accept small steel cartridges in metal recycling.

CO2 Inhalation Warning

CO2 cartridges are food-safe and intended for one purpose: pressurizing your 'Tini Tank. They are not intended to be inhaled under any circumstances.

Inhaling concentrated CO2 or any compressed gas is extremely dangerous and can cause loss of consciousness, brain damage, or death. This applies to all compressed gas cartridges regardless of what they contain. Never inhale from a cartridge, regulator, or any part of the 'Tini Tap system. Keep cartridges away from children and anyone who may misuse them.

Cold Surface Warning

During CO2 discharge, the cartridge and regulator can become extremely cold. Sometimes even cold enough to cause skin irritation or frostbite with prolonged contact.

•Avoid holding the cartridge with bare skin during or immediately after pressurizing.

•If the regulator or cartridge feels very cold, set the tank down and allow it to return to ambient temperature before handling.

•Never place a discharging cartridge against skin.

Pressurized Vessel Safety

Your 'Tini Tank is a pressurized vessel. It is engineered to operate safely within its intended use. The following practices keep it that way.

Never open the tank while pressurized. Always pull the pressure release ring to fully release CO2 before removing the tap head or opening the tank for any reason.

•Never exceed the recommended fill line. Overfilling removes the headspace the system needs to operate safely.

•Do not attempt to modify, drill, or alter any part of the 'Tini Tank or its components.

•Do not use the tank if any component appears cracked, deformed, or damaged. Contact us at info@tinitaps.com before using a unit that has been dropped or impacted.

•If you hear hissing or suspect a leak, move to a well-ventilated area, vent the tank using the pressure release ring, and inspect all connections before re-pressurizing. See our Troubleshooting Guide for a step-by-step leak check.

Heat & Sun Exposure

•Do not leave a pressurized 'Tini Tank in direct sunlight or a hot car for extended periods. Heat causes internal pressure to rise and can degrade drink quality rapidly. Additionally, extreme heat can jeopardize the integrity of the ‘Tini Tank and ‘Tini Tap components.

•Do not store the tank near open flames, heat vents, or any heat source.

•The powder coat finish can fade over time with prolonged UV exposure. Store out of direct sunlight when not in use.

Keep Out of Reach of Children

The 'Tini Tap system — including CO2 cartridges, the regulator, and all fittings should be kept out of reach of children at all times. CO2 cartridges are not toys. The pressurized system is designed for adult use only.

General Use Reminders

•Always ensure your work surface is stable before filling or pressurizing the tank.

•Keep the tank upright during pressurizing and serving.

•Do not use the 'Tini Tap system for any purpose other than its intended use as a beverage dispenser.

•If you are ever unsure about the safety of your unit, stop use and contact us at info@tinitaps.com before continuing.
