What is a 'Tini Tap?

A 'Tini Tap is a portable, pressurized mini keg system for serving cold drinks on tap. And when we say portable, we mean it. Anywhere you go, a ‘Tini Tap can go. (Just don’t take the CO2 a.k.a. ‘Tini Chargers on a plane.) Fill the double-walled, insulated 'Tini Tank with your favorite cold drink, pressurize it with a 'Tini Charger, and serve it straight from the tap.

Is a 'Tini Tap hard to set up?

Not at all! There are only few simple assembly steps before your first pour. Nothing requires tools or technical knowledge, and our Quick Start Guide walks you through the whole process from start to finish. Our goal is to get you pouring within 10–15 minutes of opening the box.

How long does it keep my drinks cold?

Our 'Tini Tanks are double-walled and vacuum insulated and will keep properly chilled drinks cold for up to 24 hours. The key words are “properly chilled”. Your 'Tini Tank maintains temperature, but it's not a refrigerator. It can't bring a warm drink down to temperature on its own. Start cold, and your 'Tini Tank will take care of the rest.

What can I put in it?

Almost anything cold and pourable. Cocktails, mocktails, spritzes, lemonades, cold brew, iced tea, and flavored waters are perfect for them! Avoid thick, pulpy, or smoothie-style drinks as they're too viscous for clean dispensing. Strain pulpy drinks before filling to remove any solids, pulp, or herbs that could clog the tap line over time.

What sizes of 'Tini Taps do you have?

'Tini Taps are currently available in two sizes. The 2L (68oz) is your go-to for date nights, lake days, and smaller gatherings. Think of it like a 2-liter of soda. It’s conveniently sized, familiar, portable, and perfect for a small group. The 5L(169oz) holds just over a gallon which is roughly the equivalent of 2.5 two-liters and is great for bigger parties and events where you never want to run out. So the question is…convenient size for intimate get-togethers? Or enough drinks for the whole party?

How do I clean my 'Tini Tap?

Clean your 'Tini Tank after every use. We recommend OxiClean Free (unscented) or any food-safe oxygen-based cleaner. It’s the consumer equivalent of the industry-standard cleaner used for kegs and tap lines which is called PBW. For the full routine, check out our Cleaning & Care Tips Guide.

Can it carbonate drinks?

The 'Tini Tap uses CO2 pressure primarily to dispense your drink, not carbonate it from flat. That said, cold liquid naturally absorbs some CO2 during pressurization, giving your drink a light natural spritz. For the best results, start with a drink that's already at your desired carbonation level. The smaller 'Tini Tap sizes will force more carbonation into your beverages than the larger sizes.

Can I add ice directly inside the tank?

Of course! Just keep two things in mind: leave enough headspace above the fill line, and consider how much dilution the ice will add to your drink before it goes in. If your batch is already built to your target flavor, a lot of ice inside the tank will water it down over time. Many people prefer adding ice to the glass at serving instead since it gives you more control. Just keep in mind, if the beverages aren’t cold when you put them in the ‘Tini Tank, we definitely recommend adding ice to get them down to temp.

What CO2 cartridges does it use?

'Tini Chargers, of course! They’re our 16g, food-safe, threaded CO2 cartridges. We sell them so you never have to worry if something else is appropriate for your system. They’re what we use and what we recommend using exclusively. Always use 16g, food-safe, threaded cartridges. Do not use non-threaded or non-food-safe cartridges.

How many 'Tini Chargers come with my kit?

Every 'Tini Tap System includes 5 'Tini Chargers right in the box. That’s enough to get you started. But it’s always a good idea to buy a few extras so you never run out!

How long does one 'Tini Charger last?

One 'Tini Charger typically powers a full 2L (68oz) session. For the 5L (169oz), plan for approximately two per full tank. If you're burning through chargers faster than that, a small seal leak is almost always the cause. If you’re experiencing a leak, see our Troubleshooting Guide for a quick fix.

Do I need a new charger every time I use the tank?

Yes. Any time you use the tank, the CO2 charge is released. Always insert a fresh 'Tini Charger before serving again. (Pro Tip: Always taste test your drinks before using a charger. It’s easier to modify your recipe before charging. No need to waste more chargers than necessary!)

Can I reuse a 'Tini Charger?

No. 'Tini Chargers are single-use. Once discharged, dispose of them responsibly. Most municipalities accept small steel cartridges in metal recycling.
